What is your expectation from the EXCON ’19?
Our products are distributed in 136 countries all over the world. We export 95 per cent of the production abroad. What are the new product launches you have planned for Excon 19?
The products that will be highlighted at the exhibition are part of the W series, which is our “strong” point in the wide range of products we have created during our 28 years of activity. Each single machine operates on different dimensions and performs, with extreme precision, on-site repairs of holes and machinery articulated joints of big and small dimensions whose disassembly would result in a machine stop and transportation to a workshop. Statistically the use of this innovative equipment reduces of 85 per cent the machining time.

How do you respond to the market, what are the USP of your products that allows you to stand tall?
What distinguishes us from our competitors is that with only ONE machine tool and ONE simple set-up, they can perform different operations which includes in-line boring, internal and external overlay welding, drilling, tapping, bringing any type of ovalized or worn hole back to the original dimensions.

What is your current market share in the different product categories?
Sir Meccanica has been in the world market for 27 years. The company is among the brand leaders in the sector to produce portable multifunction machine tools. Sir Meccanica machine tools have introduced new and revolutionary techniques in order to perform grinding work in the production and maintenance of internal and external cylindrical surfaces, in heavy and light metallic carpentry in the sector of earthmoving, building, agriculture, road constructions, industrial field, machines and plants linked to transport and energy, railway equipment, nuclear plants, mercantile and passenger ships, gas and petroleum extracting towers, military transport vehicles and mining equipment. Our primary objective is to always be closer to the customer’s needs.
