Dr. Piero Guizzetti CEO, MB Crusher India Pvt. Ltd. In an interview with B2B Purchase.

What are the Crushing & Screening products and technologies you are planning to display at Excon?

Excon is undoubtedly one of the prestigious trade exhibitions in the country. At Excon we will be showcasing the depth of our portfolio by conducting ‘Live Demo’ of our crusher Bucket at our stall OD62. In parallel, we will be displaying Crusher Buckets compatible for Excavators and Backhoes, as well as our Drum Cutter and Screening product lines.

What are the key features of your products and solutions that make them smarter and greener?

We were born with the intent to provide products that could help contractors ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’, and have maintained the motto throughout our progress. Our machines are designed to do exactly that. So smart and green is embedded in our DNA. We help reduce waste and reuse / recycle material to the extent possible.

A key benefit of our product category at the general level is that compared to alternate solutions it does not require electricity, and does not consume additional base machine fuel than what would be required to use said machines for feeding any other alternate solutions. Therefore, our solutions represents the lowest alternative in terms of electricity consumption and fuel usage.

Please share what makes your products the most preferred in the segment.

We have been the pioneers in this space, and have maintained global market leadership throughout. This has in turn translated in a diversified and leading installed base from which we draw learnings to constantly improve our products. In India, the market appreciates us because albeit our products are 100 percent Made in Italy, we are 100 present in India with our own direct presence in the market.

Brief about the latest technologies and solutions you have adopted recently. How is your organisation responding to the changing client requirements?

We have recently further enhanced the weight distribution of our machines, thereby ensuring an even better experience for the operator and zero impact on the base machine and its boom. We have also given India specific reinforcements in key parts of our machines. We have been able to do this thanks to our leadership in the market, internationally and in India.

Looking at the market opportunities and the push toward infrastructural development, what plans do you have to encash the opportunities?

We see an increasingly positive growth prospect for our niche segment. This is owing to the fact that mobilisation and installation of other alternatives have much longer timelines as compared to our solutions. As the country kicks back into gear, contractors will be keen to promptly resume operations. With MB, you can start trenching, crushing and screening in a matter of a few days.

What are your projections for the Crushing & Screening business in Indian Infrastructure?

India is the 2nd largest aggregate consumer in the world. With the heavy investment in the Infrastructure sector by the government of India, the overall demand for aggregates is bound to go up. Aggregate Industry is very fragmented in India, mostly dominated by local players and small captive players who owns small quarries and low capacity plants.

As the government is heavily focusing on infrastructure development, the demand for crushed and screened aggregates is very large and will continue to grow exponentially. Processing and producing aggregates at the matching pace of the infrastructure sector is the need of the hour and the demand for M-sand is on the rise due to the ban imposed on natural sand mining in several states of India.

Our stall is located in the Yellow Lot (stall #OD62 Yellow lot)
