JCB India launches the fuel-efficient NXT 215 LC fuel master excavator

JCB India has launched the NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Excavator, featuring 14 percent improved fuel efficiency and 5 percent enhanced productivity, designed to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.

JCB India has introduced the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Tracked Excavator at its Pune factory, representing a significant leap in construction and earthmoving equipment. This new excavator is intended to serve both the domestic market and international exports, with 14 percent higher fuel efficiency and a 5 percent increase in productivity than its predecessor.

The increased efficiency is primarily due to JCB’s Intelliflow Hydraulics technology, which optimises hydraulic performance for greater operational capabilities. The NXT 215 LC offers real-time fuel monitoring via an onboard interface and JCB’s LiveLink remote monitoring system, which could save clients up to ₹2.90 lakhs annually. Furthermore, an auto engine idle stop feature helps to reduce fuel waste during long idle times.

At the launch event, Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, emphasised the machine’s role in increasing client profitability. He states, “This new machine has been engineered to significantly reduce fuel consumption, leading to a better return on investment in today’s competitive environment.”

The NXT 215 LC is fuel-efficient and has a Power Boost feature for demanding applications, a quieter engine compartment to reduce operator fatigue, and strong performance in rock breaker operations. Furthermore, the use of LED lights increases visibility in low-light work environments.
