Construction equipment manufacturer JCB India presented an exciting line up of 25 “Made in India” machines along with technology innovations at Excon 2015.

Also on display were the JCB 220LC Xtra Tracked Excavator – a new entrant from JCB India in the 22-tonne market, the much awaited 455 ZX Wheeled Loader in the 5-tonne segment and the new Master Loader.
Visitors of JCB stall could experience JCB Livelink, an advanced telematics system which provides real time information on service, operation and security of machines. “Customers and Dealers will now have a better control on their equipment usage,” said Vipin Sondhi, MD and CEO, JCB India.

Commenting on the quality of “Made in India” products, he said, “All our products are manufactured with the philosophy of ‘one global quality’ which means the equipment we manufacture in India can be used in any part of the world. Our ‘Made in India’ products are today exported to over 60 countries.” JCB also introduced a new ecoXcellence range of Backhoe Loaders at Excon, the widely used construction equipment in India. “In 2015, JCB achieved a significant landmark of selling over 2,00,000 machines,” Sondhi informed.

JCB, at its stand of 4,500 sq.m. had a dedicated “Innovation Centre” which showcased a 3D film on JCB Innovation & Future Technology and gave a real-time experience of JCB Livelink Technology. Livelink is an innovative telematics technology that allows users to remotely monitor machines. This state-of-the-art technology provides updates regarding service alerts, operations and security by using the geo fencing and time fencing features. Customers can get SMS alerts on their mobile phones or smart devices in real time basis.

“Within four months of launching this innovative technology, we have achieved a milestone of selling over 10,000 Livelink enabled machines,” Sondhi said.
JCB’s network of dealers and outlets are today offering 43 different types of models in 7 products categories providing world-class parts and product support to its customers.
