Kobelco’s new Generation 10vators

Built to perform
While continuing with some industry leading features like fuel efficiency and faster operating cycles, the new series boasts of extreme duty structural durability to address the concerns of customers working in few very tough applications along with a strong undercarriage suitable for mining sites. Extra care has been taken to improve the efficiency and productivity of the operator through vital improvements like lighter operating control levers, better view, more effective sealing and air-conditioning of the cabin a new colour display monitor with new features and options. A more effective filtration system ensures longer service life of major components. The Auto-Idle-Stop (AIS) is still a unique fuel saving feature.

New products
The Kobelco SK220XD and the SK220XDLC were introduced in April this year. The Generation 10 38- tonne model, the SK380XDLC is expected to be launched later this year. The remaining models may be introduced next year in India, Jaruhar informs.
