NC-B 9-62 model
First time in EXCON, Liebherr introduces the new tower crane NC-B 9-62 model which is produced in the factory in Pune.
Unique features
The new NC-B tower crane is designed for the building of sky scrapers with high working heights. For the internal climbing of the cranes in lift shafts the long experience of Liebherr is important for a safe climbing procedure. “The NC-B series is also designed for housing projects for the external climbing. Here the flexibility of the configuration of the crane is very important. The cranes are built in the Indian factory Pune. Efficient FC drives and micromove fine positioning of the load helps the customers for precise working,” says Krishna Kumar, Divisional Head – Tower cranes, Liebherr India Pvt Ltd.
He adds, “The 16 EC tower systems allow free standing hook heights of 53.2 m. The operation range limiting system enables to prevent over-slewing safety-critical areas (for example rail tracks). The maximum load of the crane is 9 tonnes and the tip load at 62.5 metre is 1,200 kg.”
Quality, reliability and durability
To meet the Indian market requirements the crane is also supplied to Asia Pacific, Middle East, South America and Africa. “Liebherr is proud to introduce a product indigenously built in India, keeping all main features required for a Liebherr product like quality, reliability and durability. Liebherr shows a separate the slewing platform of this crane on the ground. So the customers can see the quality of this machine,” says Kumar.
