Manitou takes material handling to the next level

Manitou Group, the market leader in Rough Terrain Material Handling Equipment has showcased its Telehandler with Access Version and variety of attachments.
Manitou Group, headquartered in Ancenis, France, designs, assembles and distributes material handling solutions for construction, mining, agriculture and industrial markets. Dynamic Crane Engineers Pvt. Ltd, the dealers for Manitou Group jointly organised ‘Manitou Construction Day’ with Manitou South Asia Pvt. Ltd. On this occasion, Hafeez Khan, Managing Director, Manitou South Asia and Manitou South East Asia shares about the innovative solutions that are provided by Manitou. “We are the world’s leading supplier of rough terrain handling solutions and one in three telehandlers sold worldwide is a Manitou,” said Khan.
The group featured live demonstration of Manitou solutions fully dedicated to Construction & Agriculture Industry requirements. Speaking about the new range of machines that are offered, Mr. Antoine Chazelle, Vice President, Asia Pacific & Managing Director, Manitou Asia Pte Ltd. said, “Our products are designed using four basic principles. That makes our machines a 4 in 1 type.” He further added, “Safety is our top priority. We assure maximum safety to the end user. Our solutions are directed to the Total Cost of Ownership. The solutions might look a bit costlier, but in the end, they prove to be beneficial. Optimisation of every product is the ultimate aim of Manitou Group. Our R&D Department is available to our customers round the clock. We do not believe in just providing solutions, but more than that working on them. Our team does site studies, inspect the various material handling requirements of the customers and proposes a machine with various attachments which guarantee versatility and help the customers in optimisation of their fleet and cost.”
Sharing the details of the machines displayed, Khan said, “The MT-X1840A telehandler has a maximum capacity of 4 Tons and a maximum lifting height of 18 metres and is perfectly suited to sites requiring materials at height. The Man basket fitted on the Telehandler is equipped with an access console which enables the control and access of the machine from the platform. This feature is a major safety feature and is mandatory for securing the EN280 Safety certifications. This feature allows this machine to be both a Telehandler and an aerial work platform. One can expect so much more in terms of versatility thanks to all of the compatible attachments available. With its generous ground clearance, its 4-wheel drive, 4 wheel steer and crab steer guarantees best manoeuvrability and operation on the uneven terrains are efficiently handled thanks to frame levelling system and the stabilisers.”
Speaking about MLT-X 625-75H, Khan said, “The MLT-X 625 75 H is a compact telehandler with a 75 hp engine designed for both construction and agricultural applications. The optimised dimensions make it easy to enter narrow buildings and manoeuvre around, and driven wheels and three steering modes help you get around. In order meet your versatility needs, the Easy Connect System (ECS) makes changing attachments at the boom tip easy, whilst hydraulic flow allows for precise and smooth movements so you can be more productive. The MLT-X 625 75 H also comes equipped with an optimised driver’s cab and JSM controls for maximum operator comfort.”
