In this note, the latest product that Danfoss has conceptualised for the infrastructure sector is the new NextGen High Power Automation Drive with enclosure size E.
The product was recently launched at the Energy Efficiency Summit in Hyderabad. NextGen High Power Automation Drive is being projected as a breakthrough product due to its ability to transform the perception and usage of drives in the heavy industries sector.
Ravichandran Purushothaman, President, Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd claims, “Compared to its other counterparts, the new drive has been reduced in size by 73 per cent which makes it highly compact and facilitates its usage across industries while accommodating the factor of space availability. Though the overall size of the product has been reduced, it continues to deliver the same power output as the bigger drives.”

The versatility of the Danfoss Drives coupled with its energy efficient structure allow for it to be utilised in industries across sectors. Some of the industries where they can be utilised are marine and offshore, waste and wastewater management, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, food and beverages industry, lifts and escalators management, mining and minerals industry, chemical industry and in the management of cranes and hoists.
