Propel showcases its varied range of crushing solutions at Excon

V Senthil Kumar, Managing Director, Propel Industries Pvt Ltd gives a rundown on different solutions offered by Propel at Excon and adds that an in-house manufacturing facility lets the company offer quality products which offer a high degree of reliability.

Could you brief us about the products you exhibited at Excon 2019?
We showcased our crushing and screening equipment – the entire range of machinery which included Track mounted crushers, wheel-mounted crushers and stationary crushers. The solutions showcased were across a varied production capacity range – right from hundred tons per hour to six hundred tons per hour. Our product showcase also included washing solutions – wet washing and air classifiers.

Tell us about the newness in terms of the innovation or technology being used in these products?
We have launched a few products which are very new to the industry. We have launched a four deck screen on track and we were the first to achieve this. We have launched a machine called Prowash 250, a patented technology; it consumes less space and offers you more production.

We also have 600 TPH crushing and screening plant which can process up to 600 tons output per hour. We have also launched roll crusher; it is normally designed to manufacture quality sand with less sludge, less wastages. The new machine we launched consists of a hydraulic CEC setting, a new concept. We also launched (Horizontal Shaft Impactor) a machine to crush softer materials. Apart from this, we have also launched Track Mounted VSI, Gyratory Cone Crusher.

In the current market scenario, how optimistic are you about your product?
We remain optimistic about the market; keeping it in mind itself we launched different solutions at Excon. I believe the market will accept these products whole heartedly since it is the need of the hour as well.

How do you see the sector panning out in the year 2020?
I think the construction sector has taken a hit. We have already hit rock bottom. Hence the only way out of this situation is to rise above and regain our momentum of growth

According to you, what gives you an edge over other competitors?
We offer premium products as compared to our competitors and we are a performance based company. All our manufacturing facilities are in-house. So the quality of our products, the reliability that we bring in is the biggest advantage.

When it comes to mining, how much planning is required before executing a project and does it change according to the region?
We gather data from all over India about what are the rock properties in each area. So we have this application knowledge and the application team which guides our design team and also the customer centric product solution.

Could you elaborate on new products which are in the pipeline?
There are some products which are in the pipeline, related to washing technology and dry classification; it is related to m-sand manufacturing and putting greener technologies in place.
