The scenario in project procurement has changed drastically over the years. Now, customers are more focused on getting the quality met with standard products, which will give them return on investment (ROI) even faster. Customers have also understood that good quality products are made in the country and it is beneficial for them to buy it locally than to import the spares all the time.

It is crucial to focus on the life of the products. This is because in the manufactured sand industry, the whole game depends on how much production can be done continuously without replacing the spares as the demand for M-S and is rising by the day.

“We take care to provide you the best quality liners met with standard thickness which will not compromise with the input capacity of the cyclones and also provide strength at the same time,” says Vikas Singhal, Director, Bhajjanka Ispat Pvt Ltd.

The mining industry is largely focused on increasing the production than to fret over the cost of the product. This means that if the product is slightly over budget for them but they can see the returns on using the product, they will definitely buy it. But, this does not happen in a short span of time. It takes years to build trust among customers and you will have to very patient with them.

“Quality will take you very far rather than focusing on cost all the time. Good products although a bit expensive would still take care of ROI of customers,” he said.

Due to the information available today, buyers understand the importance of using value products and supplying good quality material as they are also under pressure to do the same.

New facility
The company is coming up with a new facility soon with state-of-the-art technology CNC machines for faster and precision production. Over the years, the company has evolved from a custom polyurethane product company to manufacturing equipment, fabrication and high-quality liners for the mining industry. Customers and OEM’s trust the quality provided by the company due to its proven mettle in the market.

This financial year, the company is more focused on providing support for the M-S and machines, hydrocyclones and dewatering screen. It has also started production for rubber lining of pipes and rubber hoses to prevent the leakage during operations.

“Our new tear drop designs, anti-clogging panels are doing well in the iron ore and coal washeries. This year, we would like to have our presence in the iron ore and coal washeries in government as well as private sectors,” Singhal said.

Leveraging opportunities
Further, the government has been doing phenomenal job in implementation and allocation of funds for the projects. The decisions to invest in all the sectors have increased in folds over the years.

“We as an organisation are looking forward to make the most of it by increasing our investment in terms of production and providing better quality products with the help of all our partners and as a group,” he added.

Good products although a bit expensive would still take care of ROI of customers.
