Sharp Ply brings Ukraine’s ‘Variant’ formwork & scaffolding to India

With the aim of expanding its product offerings, Sharp Ply has recently tied up with Ukraine based Variant Factory Ltd at EXCON 2017 the company is looking to promote the key product range to show the diversity it has added on by this tie up, informs Paras Kumar, Managing Director at Sharp Ply India.

USP of Variant Factory products
Operating since 1995, Variant Factory Ltd manufactures formwork and scaffolding for monolithic building. Commenting on unique features of the products offered by Variant Factory, Kumar said, these products are good finish, uniformed surfaces and faster deliveries. He also adds that the Variant Factory products reduce the cost drastically over a period of time.

Target markets
With a market size of approximately Rs 1,500 crore, the scaffolding and formwork industry in India has huge opportunities. Today the market is catered directly by both international and domestic players, latter having the smaller share in comparison. “Large construction companies and civil constructions offer great scope of providing them with our services and products,” said Kumar.

Expanding business
Responding to a question on what the company wishes to accomplish with the launch of new products, Kumar said, “We wish to be equipped with all types of wood-based construction materials along with next generation construction formwork to make working of our clients ever smooth and be ready for all possible need of our clients. At the same time, we are looking to expand our business to match the increasing demand.”
