SLM is an off highway, a rough terrain CEV machine with ergonomic design are available in the capacities of 2 cubic metre and 4 cubic metre. This equipment does the entire process of scoop, load, mix, transport and delivers to place the concrete contents independently. It only requires one person to operate. It comes with a wheel base of 2,600 mm and a track width of 1,988 mm.
The drum swiveling angle feature has a major advantage of 255 degrees and double helix spirals are with ‘T’ shape wear protection for faster discharge. Mixing time is very less at 2 minutes. It has a special feature of shovel gate opening and closing system with no spillage while unloading into the drum. These self-loading mixers have the capabilities to load 650 kgs of aggregate and 800 kgs of sand in one lift easily. It has an infinite variable drive which enables smooth changeover from low speed to high speed without manual intervention.
Stetter Self-loading mixer has a weighing system with inbuilt printer and its special features are:

‘Safety’ an important aspect
Always keeping safety to be the most important aspect, the design allows the driving station to rotate, so that the driver can turn the seat and load bucket and also check the texture of the concrete without having to get out of the cabin. According to V.G. Sakthikumar, Managing Director, Schwing Stetter Sales and Services Pvt Ltd, “These mixers have their own load bucket and are mounted on a mixing truck. Hydraulic power assisted disc braking system with dual brake circuit are there for both front and rear axles.” Hand operated parking brake acts on the rear axle. Operator can adjust the tiltable steering column as per their ergonomic comfort. Double acting cylinders are being used for faster aggregate loading. It has a round and pressed form manhole for easy maintenance.
