technologically advanced engine, developed in-house, is highly fuel-efficient and reliable, catering to Tata trucks in the 19-42 tonne range across various applications. Tailored to meet the specific needs of rapidly growing sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, parcel, and courier services, the Turbotronn 2.0 engine not only enhances the driving experience but is also engineered to deliver robust performance while significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Rigorous testing, covering over 30 lakh km and 70,000 cumulative hours across diverse duty cycles and challenging terrains, ensures its reliability.

The Turbotronn 2.0 engine is a 5-liter turbocharged diesel engine, offering multiple states of tune ranging from 180-204 PS. Its design ensures a flatter torque curve in the 700-850 Nm range, contributing to improved drivability. With longer oil drain and service intervals of 1 lakh km, this engine provides distinct advantages, including more vehicle uptime that translates to higher revenues for users.

Compliant with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, the Turbotronn 2.0 is platform-agnostic, seamlessly integrated with the Signa, Ultra, LPT, and cowl platforms. Tata Motors stands behind the performance of this engine, offering a warranty of 6 years/6 lakh km, instilling confidence in customers.

The goal was to complete a non-stop run on the Golden Quadrilateral, a crucial national highway network connecting India’s major metros, establishing the highest standards of durability and efficiency. Remarkably, the Tata Ultra T.19 not only successfully completed nine rounds of the Golden Quadrilateral but also secured nine records in both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.
