A confluence of technology and solution providers,the largest event for construction equipment is back with its 10th edition.

The 10th edition of EXCON, to be held in Bengaluru between 10-14th December 2019 with ‘Smart I-tech Next-Gen India@75’ as the theme, is the largest construction equipment exhibition in South Asia.

The theme is woven around the developmental vision given by 5Is, namely Infrastructure; Innovation; Internet; Intelligent; and Interconnected. The 5Is seamlessly integrate different dimensions envisioned in the main theme that would define the world of tomorrow.

Through the theme of ‘Smart I-tech Next-Gen India@75’, EXCON seeks to connect with major stakeholders, forge partnerships, explore and exchange ideas as well as showcase the products of the future for a new India @ 75.

The theme of EXCON blends well with the rapidity of movement towards smart and innovative technologies sweeping the CE industry. The expo would focus on products which resonate with the theme and provide value to stakeholders.

So let’s take a look at some of the different product offerings you will get to see at the fair.
Volvo CE will be showcasing a range of construction and mining equipment that serves the key industrial segments of road construction, mining and general construction. Machines that will be on display include EC750D, DD100, P5320B and more. The company will also be showcasing how Volvo CE is using Electromobility and artificial intelligence to advance the future of construction equipment.

Mahindra CE will be adding more products to its existing ranges of EarthMaster and the RoadMaster. The product launches by Mahindra CE also includes a small motor Grader and a VFM small Backhoe Loader Keeping in tune with the Smart i-tech India@ 75 theme the company JCB will capitalize on its ‘Intelli’ series along with exciting new range of technologies in Excon 2019.

JCB will also showcase the entire range of world-class JCB products starting from the compact range such as Mini Excavator, Skid Steer Loader to mid-range machines such as Backhoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Tracked Excavators, Compactors, Skid Steer Loaders and Wheel Loaders. All these products have been designed and engineered to cater to the changing needs and increasing demand across different segments.

Hyundai CE’s focus is on innovations in terms of mechanical improvements in the excavators as well as using the digital technology to ensure maximum productivity at minimum cost to the customers while optimizing the cycle time. In the same vein the company’s line-up for Excon 2019 would feature innovations in terms fuel saving technologies, optimization for various applications as well as informatics to ensure the most profitable use of excavators.

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. will preview its cutting-edge tires in size 33.00 R51 Earthmax SR 46 and 45/65 R45 Earthmax SR 53. The new tire in size 33.00 R51 Earthmax SR 46 is an all-steel radial OTR tire. This tire is specifically designed to carry heavy loads with superior resistance to cuts and chips and for an improved life. The tire has specially engineered and designed lug blocks and circumferential groove maximize cornering ability with minimum tread face damage.

Tata Hitachi will be exhibiting —EX 215LC-SLR: a super long reach machine for long-reach applications, and 20T quarry variant excavator for quarry specific applications. The company will also be displaying its range of hydraulic excavators (both in the economy and the premium segment), its all-new Backhoe Loader, SHINRAI and the indigenized wheel loader TL340H. Apart from this, the company will also display its range of attachments and spare parts.

Volvo Penta will be exhibiting its BS CEV IV products, 8L D8 engine and its SCR only technology exhaust after treatment system. Also on display will be the 13L D13 engine equivalent to BS CEV IV.

Dozco will be launching the YANMAR Mini Excavator of 2.5T and 3T as VIO25-6B & VIO30-6B and SHANTUI fully Hydraulic Bulldozer of 170 HP and 240HP as DH17 and DH24B2. The company will also display its in-house products like Rock Breaker from 2T to 100T class excavator, Under Carriage – newly launched SALT chain, Chisels and ROCK Buckets. Additionally Italtractor ITM SpA and Dozco (India) has also created a joint venture company to offer full range of undercarriage components for earthmoving machines.

GS Caltex is already ready with its futuristic portfolio to meet the demands of the industry. The company has already invested in developing its PAO based Kixx range (Kixx DX EURO 15W40– API SJ4) to meet future demands of the sector. Product categories meeting API CK4 and API FA4 standards are also ready for launch and will be in market as India moves to stricter emission norms towards BS VI. Apart from that, the company has expanded its Hydraulic Oil portfolio to launch Long Life Hydraulic Oil (Kixx Hydro HVL) as well as Zinc Free Hydraulic Oil (Kixx Hydro AF). The company has also expanded its synthetic grease portfolio to focus on Hi Temperature Grease (Therma 2), Moly Grease (Molytex 2) and Steering Grease (Multifak EP2).

Ajashy Engineering will showcase its improved version of diesel tanker. The tanker has a unique three compartment design and the unit can be fitted at the customer site in few hours. The company will also showcase for first time product from Principals GF Gordini and Indico which are Italian manufacturers.

MB Crusher will also be showcasing the Screening machine (MB-S18) which can be interchangeably used with the same excavator.

Kobelco CE will be showcasing its mining excavator, the 80T SK850LC, for the first time, along with its demolition excavator, the 35T SK350DLC. Kobelco CE will also display its mini excavator, the 3.0T SK30SR. Among the other attachments, the company will also display the new Okada Breaker as well as the Miller range of Quick Couplers.

Automation India Welding will show case the Robotic Welding Solution for optimization of the productivities in Yellow goods industries.

Everest Engineering will showcase GJJ passenger hoist, GJJ mast climber and Tower crane anti-collision systems. GJJ is the market leader with a population of 60,000 units worldwide.

Mtandt will be launching its new range of Powered Mobile Access Platform, the platform is a perfect hybrid of Mechanical Aluminium Scaffold and Powered AWP. In one single product it delivers the versatility of Mechanical Aluminium scaffold – that is modular design, light weight, can work on even or uneven floor and the convenience and safety of powered personnel lift.

Powerbuild will introduce gear boxes for batching plant which are bevel helical or bevel planetary type.
Shell will showcase its superior range of engine oils, axle and transmissions fluids, greases and hydraulic oils used in diversified applications of construction machinery.

SDLG will be presenting their very recently launched 4 t-rated wheel loader in India during Excon 2019, the new wheel loader will strengthen SDLG’s offering of reliable machines in the region.

K2 Cranes will introduce its new range of Hoists and large capacity Goliath Cranes.

In this edition of Excon,
SREI Equipment Finance Ltd has tied up with leading reputed global equipment manufacturers. The focus is to provide customized financing solutions covering the entire asset life-cycle of its customers. The company will also be launching exciting leasing schemes and loyalty schemes for its customers. Customers can also participate in commercial games to win attractive interest rates and terms.

Schwing Stetter India will be displaying 15 new products at EXCON 2019 in 3356 sq.m space along with XCMG, GOMACO, USA and Rubble master HMH GmBH products with a grand total of 52 products. The company will also showcase its smart and intelligent technologies or the very first time.

Columbia which has close to 300 plants automatic concrete block plants working in India will be displaying be showcasing its automatic handling systems at Excon this year.

Putzmeister will showcase an expanded range of Batching Plants, Transit Mixers, Stationary Concrete Pumps and Truck Mounted Boom Pumps. In addition the company will also showcase its Tower Cranes and Pavers at the Putzmeister and Sany Concrete Solutions stand.

AJAX will unveil numerous products during EXCON, one of them being the Acura Series range of Self-loading concrete mixture. The Acura Series Argo 2500 and Argo 4500 Self Loading Concrete Mixer (SLCM)would offer completely a new-fangled dimension to the world of concreting with inimitable features viz Load cell weighing system [patent pending], Telematics, Electronic Drum Control Unit, Smart Concrete Batch Controller [CBC] etc.

ACD Machine Control will be launching the wireless version of its wind monitoring switch. This will be especially useful for crawler cranes as it will eliminate the wire between the controller cabin and the moving crane boom.

Shri Krishna Agro Equipment’s will be launching its ultra large rock splitter model S-1200. The Smart Hydraulic Rock Splitter is eco-friendly and curbs the unwanted noise and dust generated during splitting operations.

For the construction, mining and quarries operator

CDE Asia will introduce Combo X70 Smart featuring an intelligent remote monitoring platform and range of smart features.

Sir Meccanica is known for its portable multifunction machine tools for grinding work in the production and maintenance of internal and external cylindrical surfaces across different sectors. The company will be highlighting the products which are a part of its W series. These products are milestone products that the company has created during its 28 years of activity.

Hailstone Innovations will be displaying one of its complete project plants along with its washing segment machines called “Aqua Wash”

Proman Infrastructure Services will be showcasing its complete range of three stage crushing equipment and screens. The company will also be launching the Dry sand classifier, its new generation oil series VSI’s and VSG’s and state-of-the-art dry m complete range.

Torsa Machines will showcase its screening and crushing machine plants from 50 – 200 TPH. The company is also showcasing its C&D recycle plant which reduces the cost of production and is also eco-friendly.

Multi-couplings combine more than one connector on a common mounting for simultaneous manual or automatic connection.

United Tyrekrafts will be launching Unitread multi-couplings designed in 3/8” size and 4 numbers of ports. This product is specially designed for jigs & fixtures, construction equipments.

Gandhi Automation will be launching its loading bay equipment range of products as well as high speed doors.

Paschal Formwork will be exhibiting its RFID Chip Technology and E-Deck. The RFID Chip technology is a unique state of art process through which the panels are embedded for easy access Apart from that the company will also be exhibiting E-deck, a light weight slab panel system, at Excon at a very attractive price.

Ashar Lockers will be exhibiting its complete range of wire mesh, rubber, polyurethane and anti-clogging hybrid meshes at Excon 2019. Besides that the company will also be introducing its next generation Tufflex screens for the first time in Indian market.
