Visitors are more concern about capacity and final product size as these are directly related to customer’s revenue. Your business is invariably related to construction and mining; do you believe that the policy implemented by the government has helped the sector to grow?
Government initiated project like Bharatmala, Smart City project covering 100 cities, Housing for All, metro rails, railway lines, etc. will spur demand for construction and mining equipment. In the long run, the construction equipment sector will witness immense growth as a direct result of increased construction activity. Mining sector is also opening new opportunities in power plants and coal handling systems. Meanwhile, construction equipment sector is also facing multiple challenges including economical slow down and high financing rates which are directly affecting purchase decisions. We hope that current government shall take positive actions to remove the hurdles.
What does India as a market mean to you? Who are your key customers?
With the strong focus on infrastructure spending by the government of India and the state governments, we are confident that the market will have a healthy growth going forward. As of now, our key customers are Road contractors, RMC companies and individual quarry owners. We are also now focusing on Mining and Mineral processing sectors to have a bigger presence.
