Titagarh Rail Systems received a contract of ₹537.11 crore from Ambuja Cements and ACC to deliver specialised waggons for cement and fly ash transport, improving India’s rail infrastructure modernisation.

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), a renowned Indian rolling stock manufacturer, has been given a significant contract by Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited, both subsidiaries of Adani Cement. The order, worth about INR 537.11 crore, involves the manufacturing and supply of 16 BCFCM (Bogie Covered Fly Ash/Cement Waggon) rake waggons as well as BVCM (Bogie Brake Van Type) waggons, boosting TRSL’s position in the freight rolling stock industry.

The deal demonstrates TRSL’s ability in developing and producing specialised goods waggons for bulk transportation. The BCFCM and BVCM waggons are intended to improve the flow of fly ash and cement, resulting in faster and more cost-effective movement of these critical materials. Additionally, it emphasises TRSL’s capacity to provide customised solutions adapted to the individual demands of its customers.

This order will be executed between January 2026 and March 2027, leveraging TRSL’s modern production facilities and engineering expertise to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery.
