bauma CONEXPO INDIA, being our industry’s premier and flagship event, is incredibly beneficial for meeting several stakeholders in one location in a more relaxed and informal setting. Our affiliation with this event is long-standing, and our continuous presence sends a strong signal to all stakeholders that we have a firm base and will remain in the market.

Can you walk us through the latest innovations showcased in your product line at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024?
Because we work in the spare parts sector, our primary goal is to improve part performance and working life while incurring minimun cost increases. We are showing some unique items developed in partnership with our global partners that significantly enhance the life of machines and save costly breakdowns. We are showing twin-layer pipeline technology for high-abrasive media, which has the potential to last up to ten times longer than traditional materials. As we work in the aggregate and concrete industries, it becomes critical.

How is your company integrating eco-friendly practices in areas like energy consumption in your equipment?
We have invested heavily in process automation and production technology innovation over the last 4-5 years to reduce rejections/wastages and improve capacities by more than threefold. This has resulted in a significant reduction in pro-rata energy usage, leading to substantially higher efficiency.

Digital transformation, including AI, IoT, telematics, and automation, is a driving force in the industry. How are these technologies integrated into your products?
Advanced technologies enhance production and assure consistency in quality. The introduction of artificial intelligence and cloud-based technology has helped to expand the boundaries of a physical office, unlocking enormous potential for multitasking and growth. Automating operations that are susceptible to human error and blunders has also aided in the production of standardised products.

What training or skill development programs does your company offer to ensure operators can fully utilise your machinery’s capabilities?
We conduct frequent certifications of both machinery and workers from world-renowned quality certifying bodies. We have WPS/PQR for our welders because steel manufacturing is our primary operation, and we upgrade and refresh them regularly.

The Indian market is growing rapidly, but this brings challenges in building a robust component supplier and service provider ecosystem. How are you addressing these challenges?
Supply chain management is one of the key areas in which we have made significant progress in recent years, particularly following the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. We have integrated our vendors into our ERP system, allowing them to see real-time stock and supply positions. This has resulted in decreased inventory and reduced communication between the relevant teams.

Can you share your approach to sustainability throughout your products’ lifecycle, including any innovations in materials, recycling, or circular economy initiatives?
We may achieve operational optimisation by lowering waste and rejects, minimising corrective work and repair activities, and utilising both operational and digital management tools. This is the single most important factor in maintaining sustainability and reducing environmental damage.
