Mining Solutions
Wirtgen introduced Surface Mining Technology in India in the year 1995 in a limestone quarry of Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited and introduced Surface Mining Technology for blast-free, selective mining for cement sector in the year 1999 at Lakhanpur colliery of Mahanadi Coalfileds Limited (MCL). Many cement majors have adopted this innovative hassle-free quarrying technology. 20 Wirtgen Surface Miners of various sizes & capacities have been deployed in different collieries of MCL, CCL (Central Coalfields Limited) & SCCL (Singereni Collieries Company Limited.
 
Wirtgen India is now fully geared up to provide total solution to our esteemed customers in the Coal and Limestone sectors in meeting their future needs in respect of Surface Mining Technology.            
 
Product Range: Surface Miners starting with 2.2 m working width (48 MT operating Weight) up to 4.2 m working width (192 MT operating weight) with cutting depths up to 800 mm for different models.

                                                                                                                                                      
Highway & Pavement Solutions
Slipform Paving Technology: Slipform pavers from 2.5 m width up to 16 m working width with maximum paving thickness of up to 450 mm. Ancillary range: Dowel Bar Inserters, Central/ Side Tie Bar Inserters, Integrated Side Feeders and Texture Curing Machines.
 
Asphalt Paving Technology: Pavers starting with 1.1 m working width up to 16 m working width, with lay-down capacities up to 1,100 tons/hour. Vogele also has the mobile feeder for non-stop quality even when paving wide and thick layers with up to 600 tons/hour lay-down rate.
 
Cold Milling Technology: Cold milling machines from 350 mm working width up to 2.2 m working width with cutting depths up to 350 mm for carriageway removal, trench cutting, fine milling applications.
 
Cold Recycling Technology:
Cold recyclers from 2.2 m working width to 4.2 m working width & working depth up to 300 mm.
Soil stabilizers cum recyclers with 2.5 m working width and working depth up to 500 mm. Slurry mixers with 1000 l/min mixing capacity. Mobile cold recycling mixing plant with 200 tons/hour production capacity.
Wirtgen also has Hot recyclers in its product line.
 
Asphalt Hot Mix Plants: Hot Mix Asphalt Batching plants both with stationary and mobile configurations are available from 70 tph to 320 tph.
 
Compaction Technology:
Double drum vibratory rollers from 2.5 T to 14 T operating weight.
Combination rollers from 2.5 T to 9.3 T operating weight.
Earth compactors from 5 T to 25 T operating weight.
Rubber Tyred rollers from 8.8 T to 14.5 T operating weight, fully ballasted up to 20 T to 28 T.
