bauma CONEXPO India (bC India) 2018 opened with a bang at the HUDA Ground on December 11 in Gurgaon.
Packed with arduous sentiment, the flagship industry exposition warmed up with an inauguration ceremony followed by unveiling of innovations and new product launches.
Manufacturers from all parts of the world brought forth an array of construction vehicles, earth-moving machines, road construction and maintenance equipment, access equipment, construction equipment, tools and special systems, handling and processing concrete and mortar at construction sites, formwork and scaffoldings, site installations, mining, among other offerings.

Considering over 40,000 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors, the international trade fair exceeds all expectations showcasing innovations from CASE, JCB, CATERPILLAR, LiuGong, MB Crusher India, Volvo Penta, Larsen and Toubro, Kobelco and HAULOTTE, Schwing Stetter, SANY, Wirtgen, among other frontline industry players. Visitors discovered technological dexterity and saw machines in live action at the exposition.
India’s construction industry is booming owing to the government’s large allocation of funds for infrastructure projects, and exhibitors in the country reiterated their commitment towards buoying growth of the sector. Construction machinery market scaling new heights and the country is set to become the world’s third-largest market for the global construction industry by 2025, according to industry data.
The trade fair is slated to wrap up on December 14.
