Spartan: The journey so far
Spartan has achieved a leadership position in manufacturing construction equipment’s and this development has been facilitated by its state of the art manufacturing facility at Atgaon on Mumbai-Nashik highway. Spread across 5 acres with 1 lac sq.ft. build-up shed and office, the facility is fully equipped with world class equipments to manufacture an array of construction equipments & fire evacuation lifts. The production facility covers the overall manufacturing operations which includes fabrication, production assembly, testing, R&D, design & development, spares management & dispatch.

Going forward Spartan aims to ensure that the manufacturing facility becomes a global benchmark. And Spartan’s Managing Director Dr Vikram Mehta is committed to make this dream a reality. Whenever he visits various manufacturing plants across globe, he aims to implement the best practices at Spartan’s Atgaon facility. This has lead in forming “Operational Excellence Apex Committee”. This committee is lead by the CEO, followed by department heads of production, design, quality, stores, purchase and administration. This committee takes various steps and initiatives to produce the best product in a productive and safe environment.

Design & Development
Spartan’s Design & Development team consists of 20+ dedicated professionals with expertise inEngineering Design & Development. The design team uses SolidWorks for 3D solid model design, static & dynamic analysis Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of machine components & documentation.

This ensures strength & reliability of all components & thereby gives the customer peace of mind.

Design Engineers study the structural, static & dynamic Load requirement, load deflection characteristics & working Conditions of the end application. Entire structure of machine has been designed on basis of FEA study by considering various loading conditions to ensure the life, reliability and safety.

Service
Customers are genuinely concerned about sales and service. Every customer expects a product which has no break downs and in case of a break down a quick resolution with a zero or minimum downtime is expected. Spartan understands this need and hence has built a strong PAN India service department. Spartan has a team of around 150 engineers and technicians, working at nine branches & regional offices which takes care of each and every machine including the ones working in remote areas.

Spartan’s well trained team of technicians have 10-20 years of rich hands-on experience with leading construction companies. These professionals also imparted with in-house training on safe usage and maintenance of machines.
