Caterpillar’s latest product offerings

Caterpillar’s latest product offerings Caterpillar has recently launched two new products during the Excon. The first is Cat 303 Mini Hex, and the second is 120 GC motor grader. The goal of the 120 GC is to give a greater array of solutions to our existing and future road segment clients. We already have three models in this area, two of which are classified as Cats and one as SEMs. With this fourth model, we hope to help our clients in the expanding road sector operate a more profitable business while completing new projects. The 120 GC provides an excellent balance of ROI, operator comfort, and fuel efficiency. As a result of all of this, clients may anticipate improved performance, efficiency, and profitability. In terms of applicability, this product is solely for the road segment, particularly when building large highways. In this sector, our technology adoption and offering are extensive. Not only in the 120 GC, but also the excavators and backhoe loaders are equipped with Cat’s advanced engine to fulfill the current pollution regulations, and the excavator ranges from 3 Tonnes to 95 Tonnes. These are all technologically advanced equipment, with the most recent telematics and fuel economy software, where the machine performs when the client wants it to function in an effective and productive manner. As a result, technology is playing a significant role in meeting the needs of our end customers.

Digital transformations for better customer experience

Caterpillar has been at the forefront for the innovation on construction equipment for many decades. Through digitalisation, our dealers deliver a wide range of services. We have a technology called product link, which allows our customers to monitor the operations of their equipment as well as their performance and health statistics on their mobile phone. 

Based on that information, our dealers provide a variety of services, including preventative maintenance, customer value agreements (CVAs) to improve uptime, and various recon solutions.

 Equipment training and skill development 

Our machines are ergonomically built for operator comfort. The features we provide in our machines assist operators to be more efficient and comfortable when running the machine for extended periods of time. When it comes to skill development, Caterpillar and our dealership offer operator & maintenance training where we train and improve those capabilities so that they can employ our smart equipment. They can use the most recent technology we provide to assist our customers.

 Investment for excellence 

Our investment is based on our experience, collaboration with the dealership, and customer involvement. We’ve been in this market for a long time, and the 120 GC is leading the way in that area. As a result, we utilise any information and comments we receive from our customers through our dealership. We are always willing to learn and to obtain more feedback from our customers so that we can offer products to our customers in India. We used to just have one excavator in 2017. As you can see, now we have five options in the 20-tonne size category. That demonstrates how seriously we take customer requirements and how swiftly we are attempting to incorporate what is already available on the market. We will continue to launch new products depending on customer requirements.
