Escorts Ltd, the agri machinery and construction equipment manufacturer, has announced appointment of S Sridhar who would head Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE).  He will focus on transforming and building organisational energy at ECE to leverage emerging business opportunities, the company said.

Ravi A Menon has been inducted as Chief Executive Officer of the company’s agri machinery business. “Menon has been credited for shaping the development cultures of some of the most influential and valuable companies and brings over three decades of experience in marketing, sales, branding, international markets and production from industries as varied as tractor, cement and industrial products,” a company statement said.

According to Rajan Nanda, Chairman of Escorts Limited, “We have strengthened our leadership team at a time when Escorts has created a strong base for growth across its businesses. At Escorts, we have focused on creating synergies between the businesses. Menon’s induction brings cross-industry experience and a strong understanding of the different aspects of enterprises and Sridhar’s movement to ECE would help further strengthen the process of integration in key areas.”
