Ammann Apollo to exhibit key products and services at Bauma Conexpo India 2016
Ammann Apollo is looking at Bauma Conexpo India 2016 as a platform to showcase the company’s technological strengths. This is an investment to achieve long term marketing goals. Ammann Apollo will present a deep and wide range of products, including light compaction equipment, heavy rollers, pavers, and asphalt plants. After-sales support efforts that will be exhibited include retrofits, service and parts through the network serving India.

Two new counterflow asphalt-mixing plants will be unveiled at the show. The Apollo CounterMix 90 and CounterMix 120 combine the simplicity of continuous drum-mix plants with the fuel efficiency achieved through counterflow technology. The plants provide reduced operating costs, lower emissions and an ability to utilise RAP. The plants have capacities of 90 tonnes per hour and 120 tonnes per hour. The company’s light compaction equipment will also be showcased at the expo. The machines offer a multitude of features, such as intuitive operation and vibration-limiting handles that make the compactors productive, safe and comfortable.Several models new to the Indian market will be present, including the ACR 68 Rammer; the APR 2220 Reversible Vibratory Plate Compactor; and APF 1250 and APF 1850 Forward-Moving Vibratory Plate Compactors. The ARW 65 Walk-Behind Roller will be shown in the demonstration area.

Apollo pavers will be featured at the show. Apollo is the paver market leader in India in part due its strong product support efforts. The machines also are easy to operate and meet all governmental regulations. Apollo paving products include hydrostatic pavers, mechanical pavers, curb pavers, brooms and bitumen sprayers.

ABA UniBatch Asphalt-Mixing Plant:  Versatility makes UniBatch one of the most popular Ammann plants. The plant is among the lower-cost alternatives and is easy to operate and maintain. It also is known for its reliability.

The high-recycling RAH 50 Dryer will be on display with the plant. Visitors to the booth will be able to walk through the dryer and see Ammann technology up close.

Ammann as1 Control System: The ‘brains’ of the plant will be demonstrated inside an on-site cabin. The proprietary system can monitor energy consumption, material usage, material flow and other factors that significantly impact productivity and profitability.

Amdurit: “Ammann’s proprietary wear-protection system provides three times the service life of wear-resistant steel and protects valuable parts and components. The components last longer, which translates to fewer replacements and reduced labour and therefore lower costs. Overall plant uptime is improved as well,” claims Sapru.

Service: Apollo has significantly strengthened its product support coverage in India and those strides will be showcased. Service products – including preventive and other maintenance packages – and burner services and calibration will be explained as well.
