Design OptionsACRODOME series of skylights can be used and installed over all kind of buildings. They have versatility to fit on to residences, commercial complexes, hotels and restaurants, recreational buildings, industrial shades or buildings. However the requirement may differ from building to building. In order to meet the different needs we can help you by offering different design solutions. The design options are broadly explained here:
Sheet Options: ACRODOME skylights are available in clear transparent and smoke transparent form. The Transparent sheets transmits 95% ( clear transparent) to 60% ( smoke transparent) light. They are ideal for the areas where the direct sun rays or very intense light is required.The Textured sheets offer refracted evenly spread light which is evenly spread due to the textures on the surface. They transmit light up to 50%. It also offers privacy and cuts off direct sun rays. They are ideal for residencies and hot climate areas.ACRODOME skylights are also available in translucent shades (mainly white). It offers the soft light. Besides, other color shades can be made available on request.SINGLE SKIN / DOUBLE SKINACRODOME skylights are available in single skin and double skin options. The single skin skylights are one layer formed skylights. They are ideal for fixing over the open areas like balcony, entrance canopy, porch, balconies or in warehouses.
The Double skin skylights are made up of two separate skins sealed with an air gap between them. The gap between two skin works as barrier against heat transmission. The heat transmission is reduced up to 50% depending on the selection of sheets.
OPENABLE SKYLIGHTOpenable ACRODOME skylights are also available. The openable skylights come in manual or motorized mode. It offers advantage in terms of design elegance and helps in ventilating the heat built up. It also brings fresh air in the room or building.VENTILATED CURBING / CURBINGThe ventilated curbing frame helps in ventilating the hot air built up within the building or the room. They are very useful mainly in production area or where heat built up is a permanent problem and needs fixed open louvers.Besides we can also offer curbing frames to fix our standard size ACRODOME on non standard openings to avoid any kind of breakage in the existing opening or curbing.
