This interaction explores how cutting-edge formwork solutions, strategic technology, and sustainability practices are overcoming key challenges in the construction industry and driving faster, more efficient, and eco-friendly project outcomes.
What new formwork materials is your company using to improve durability for performance?
The Indian construction industry has considerable hurdles in speed and quality, with safety being the priority. To solve these issues, we provide unique solutions such as the Balcony Care System, hydraulic climbing systems, and various formwork technologies that increase building speed while maintaining safety. Our Balcony Kit System and Gang Form are designed for efficiency, and the hydraulic climbing system, which has previously been applied in high-rise buildings in Mumbai with more than 75 storeys, provides quick and safe construction. These cutting-edge solutions are critical for meeting the changing needs of modern building design and construction challenges.
How does your company’s formwork system handle complex projects like bridges and high-rise buildings?
We specialise in business and residential structures and perceive high-rise construction as an opportunity rather than a challenge. While four or five levels are manageable, they need more complexity than we enjoy. Our focus is on repeatability, our product’s unique selling point. High-rise structures offer an ideal atmosphere to demonstrate our abilities, making it a beneficial rather challenging endeavour. It is an opportunity to use our experience and produce efficient, high-quality solutions.
How does your form of solution help to reduce costs throughout the construction process?
When employing our aluminium formwork, we prioritise the contractor’s perspective. We recognise that the more convenient and accessible they are, the faster they can work. This efficiency enables them to reuse the formwork on several projects, increasing value. Our Reformer section ensures that the formwork is used to its full potential, assisting contractors in planning future projects and optimising material utilisation across many constructions.
How does your formwork leverage digital tools like BIM for better planning and execution?
Aluminium formwork can only be completed effectively with substantial field design work. Everything is combined into a single document known as the shell plan, which considers all the main formwork components. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is fundamentally about information management. When we have all the relevant information, management becomes more streamlined and efficient, making implementation easier.
What sustainable practices does your company follow from formwork material sourcing and disposal?
Disposal and reuse are critical components of our methodology. We assist our customers in extending the lifespan of materials, allowing them to reuse them numerous times, which leads to new business opportunities for us. Aluminium is already an environmentally beneficial alternative, with a significant advantage over wood, making it a sustainable construction material.
Can you tell us something about your new products?
We have a 45-year legacy, beginning as a manufacturer of door and window frames. We subsequently expanded into manufacturing construction equipment, scaffolding, and, at present, aluminium. Our proficiency in construction machinery, particularly engineering, gives us a significant advantage. Understanding our customers’ difficulties allows us to create machines that satisfy their needs, whether it’s a concrete mixer or a bar-cutting and bending machine. Designing solutions tailored to these challenges is rewarding and fuels our passion for innovation in the construction industry.
