Caterpillar debuts “Services Commitment” program at bauma 2024

Caterpillar Inc., the world’s biggest manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, presented its world-class products, services, and advanced technologies to help customers build a better, more sustainable future at bauma Conexpo India 2024.

Caterpillar demonstrates its service commitment to clients at bauma

Caterpillar announced the introduction of its “Services Commitment” initiative. Services Commitment is now part of Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), and it offers a promise of service response and parts availability within an agreed-upon timeframe. Caterpillar professionals provide on hand additional information, and clients can take advantage of exclusive show deals.

Another interesting addition to Caterpillar’s Services exhibit is the Cat Central App, which allows users to obtain Genuine Cat parts at any time and from anywhere. Cat Central also offers a variety of additional perks, like personalised features to help you identify the proper components fast, free in-app manuals, and more.

“Caterpillar is committed to offering customers an exceptional customer experience throughout the lifecycle of their equipment to maximise their success. With the launch of the Services Commitment program in India, Cat equipment will be easier to own,” said Mani Rajan, Director of Distribution, Bangalore District, Asia Pacific Distribution. “By offering Services Commitment as part of their Customer Value Agreements, Cat dealers offer comprehensive, integrated solutions that help customers improve efficiency and productivity when using Cat equipment.”

In addition, Caterpillar is commemorating the fifth anniversary of Cat Financial activities in India. Caterpillar Financial Services India Pvt. Ltd. (CFSI), a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) that has established itself as a reliable partner for customers in the construction, mining, and infrastructure industries. Its expanded options include financing for parts, machine rebuilds, maintenance, and equipment protection throughout the product’s lifecycle. The “MyCatFinancial” internet platform, which allows clients to effortlessly manage their accounts, makes things even easier.

Caterpillar exhibits its latest integrated product solutions, including the newly introduced Hindustan 2021F Small Wheel Loader, which meets CEV Stage V emission standards.

Guests visiting the Caterpillar stand can look at a variety of machines, including hydraulic excavators, backhoe loaders, motor graders, skid steer loaders, dozers, and wheel loaders. Each model is intended to fulfil the evolving needs of the construction sector while emphasising operator safety and efficiency. These goods consume less fuel, operate faster, and are more productive than previous models.

As part of the electric power solutions, generator sets from the Cat and FG Wilson brands were presented to demonstrate their capabilities, are designed to fulfil local emission criteria while reliably powering a variety of applications.
