Consolidated Hoists Private Limited, was incorporated on June 14,
June 1966 to manufacture and sell SWIFT Hoists and Cranes. The hoists were manufactured as per the design of SWF Germany, with whom Consolidated Hoists Pvt., Ltd., had a technical collaboration. The actual production of the hoists was started in Pune in 1969. However, due to government policies at that time, the technical collaboration agreement with SWF could not be extended beyond ten years.
 
Over the last 25 years, Consolidated Hoists Pvt., Ltd., has increased its product range with in-house indigenous development and designs. Today, we manufacture Electric Wire Rope Hoists ranging from 0.5 Ton capacity to 20 Ton capacity at our Pune works, under the brand name SWIFT. The Pune works is well equipped with machine shop and testing facilities.
 
The Satara Works is located in M.I.D.C. Industrial Estate and is well equipped with up-to-date fabrication and allied machinery to undertake the manufacture of Cranes
 
SWIFTY- ELECTRIC CHAIN HOIST
A product marketed by Consolidated Hoists Pvt. Ltd., is an ideal low – cost device for light weight material handling. SWIFTY is particularly useful for handling of work pieces in automobile, forging, heat treatment, foundry and other industries.
 
SWIFT- ELECTRIC WIRE ROPE HOIST
Proven design, lightweight and compact size ensuring least possible hook approaches. Available in a wide range with options of load capacity ( 0.5 to 20 Tons ), lift, speed, hooking pattern, trolleys and safety features to meet specific requirements.
SWIFT- ELECTRIC WIRE ROPE HOISTS Specially engineered for use in highly inflammable areas using CMRS approved flameproof electrical aggregates. A range of modes is available for use in chemical process plants, coal mines and refineries.
 
CRANES
SWIFT Cranes are custom built as per customer specifications, for different spans, capacities, lifts and speeds. SWIFT Cranes give a complete and reliable solution for a client’s material handling needs. Cranes are built to meet specified performance requirements, exceed customer expectations for reliability and safety and gives the customer excellent overall Value for Money.
Capacity         
Cranes are manufactured at Satara works. Besides the above, we also manufacture other material handling equipment, to meet client’s specific requirement. Lifting capacities of Cranes range from 250 kg. to 50,000 kg. Cranes are designed as per IS 3177 and IS 807.
Cranes are manufactured using the best quality steel and fabricated by qualified welders. Our stringent quality control ensures various tests like radiography of butt welds, ultrasound tests, die penetrant tests and magnetic particle test. Besides these, we also test our cranes for25 % overload with calibrated loads.
Cranes are also tested for deflection, speeds, currents and all other relevant tests as per IS.
Sophisticated computer aided designs optimize the choice of components and overall crane weight, resulting in efficient and cost competitive cranes which are delivered in the shortest possible time.
