Road contractors turn towards the company for asset requirements given the slew of projects announced recently.

Selling a machinery is just the beginning of a relationship but helping customers derive maximum utility is equally imperative, according to Nitesh Jangir, Sales Manager – India, SECMAIR-BREINING.

What can we expect from you at bauma India expo this edition?
We are anticipating huge turnout of road contractors. Many new projects have been announced for road construction in past few months and contractors would be looking up to us for their asset requirements.

Are any new products or innovations going to be unveiled?
Continuous improvement and customisation of equipment gives the customer an edge of over competition and we would love to see both existing customers and new prospects to discuss new asset needs, retrofits and service support. We are participating in the indoor halls at stand no H2.N40.

What will encourage your customers to most prefer your equipment while buying?
For us, selling a machinery is just the beginning of a relationship but helping customers to derive maximum utility is as important. We encourage contractors to choose technology suited for their project with a possibility of upgradation in future. Service support, spare parts availability and training of crew is what should be emphasised as well making a purchase.

How favourable are present market conditions for the segment?
The government is spending huge amounts in construction of road assets and timely intervention in pavement perseveration is necessary to increase the life cycle of it. We foresee a surge in demand of road maintenance equipment like micro surfacing machine, pot hole and patching repair machine, crack sealers and surface dressing equipment.

Continuous improvement and customisation of equipment gives the customer an edge of over competition.
