Can you give us an overview of TIDC’s product portfolio for the material handling industry?
Today, TIDC India has established relationships with more extensive manufacturing, engineering, and product development facilities to provide various industrial chains and other power transmission products across industries. We supply conveyor chains, leaf chains, specially coated chains, standard roller chains, and make-to-order chains to the material handling industry, all of which are carefully designed to provide durability, precision, and longevity. As you are aware, TIDC India’s 60-year history is based on trust in the quality of our chains and the value addition we provide in our services.
What are the market demand trends in the material handling industry?
The Material Handling Equipment market exceeded USD 140 billion in 2020 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 6 per cent between 2021 and 2027. The expanding industrial sector incorporates advanced material handling equipment to boost productivity and industry growth. The global chain drive market is expected to be worth $4.9 billion in 2021. Many surveys predict the market will reach US$ 6.1 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 3.8 per cent between 2022 and 2027. The global conveyor systems market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.8 per cent between 2022 and 2029, from $5.60 billion in 2022 to $7.76 billion in 2029.

Please talk about the conveyor rigs and chains you provide for material handling?
The TIDC (diamond chain) product portfolio includes all chains used and applied in bulk and unit material handling. Our chain is used in food, packaging, and conveying applications in the unit material handling segment, forklifts, multi-car parking, and escalators in the infrastructure and construction segment. Our engineering class chain is used in stacker reclaimers, bucket elevators, pan conveyors, and other bulk material handling applications. These are illustrative rather than exhaustive examples.
