What does the future hold for construction equipment industry in India?

The Indian construction equipment industry is a key segment of the manufacturing sector and is poised for excellent growth in the coming years, based on India’s overall manufacturing sector and infrastructure growth.

The overall industry is in growing direction and is assumed to grow at 15 to 20 per cent every year over the next few years. Earthmoving or road equipment and material handling are the key product segments expected to contribute to the bulk of the growth.

To leverage this opportunity, Indian construction equipment manufacturers need to focus on developing individual and pooled capabilities to develop global competitiveness across the sector.

How was the EXCON 2017 as far as your company is concerned?

EXCON catalyses our presence in the construction and mining industry, it always helps in introducing the new products and advanced technologies to the market. Since DOZCO is also into manufacturing and trading of various components and imported equipment and its spares, we always look for an opportunity to reach out to the customers very closely; EXCON fulfils our will in this regard. We have come up with many new product launches, interesting schemes during our participation in EXCON 2017 such as rock bucket, block bucket, light tower, crusher and screen bucket, spares for differential and gearboxes and in equipment as Hidromek motor grader.

Also, EXCON is an ideal platform to interact with existing customers and an opportunity to increase customer base.
