Foam concrete, also known as Cellular Light Weight Concrete (CLC), is named after its peculiar composition a porous structure with microscopic air cells. Foamed concrete or lightweight concrete are suitable for both precast and cast-in-place applications. Some of the highly insulative cementitious foams at densities 48 kg/m3 to 645 kg/m3 or higher can be used as block fills, lightweight roof deck and void-fill materials. Good strength characteristics with reduced weight make lightweight concrete suitable for structural and semi-structural applications such as lightweight partitions, wall and floor panels, and lightweight blocks. Cementitious foams are suitable for thin layer coating applications where specific performance criteria are required. Foamed concrete and foamed cement have very fine pore structure. The dynamic nature of foam allows different foam rheology to be incorporated into the host cement/concrete matrix to satisfy a wide range of slump loss requirements. The inert nature of foam systems makes them compatible with different kinds of aggregates, fillers, extenders, retarders, accelerators, colorants, hydraulic inorganics and many other additives. Advantages of foam concrete • High heat and sound insulation • Much faster spreading than the traditional mix of sand and cement • Possibility to mix ingredients in the construction site, with no need for silos and expensive pre-mixed products • Highly competitive price • Energetic and economic saving • High environmental compatibility. Sai-Ansh Engineers Pvt Ltd’s newly developed foam concrete plant is with integrated system of mixer, foam generator and pump, with in-built capacity to pour foam concrete upto 30 metres vertically and 300 metres horizontally by its smallest plant. Plant can be provided with single-phase motors too. Adjusting the density is very easy and can be done online. • Foam concrete can be pumped to cast foam concrete walls instead of the tedious block work with Sai-Ansh plant. • Foam concrete can also be laid on terrace, floors, fill voids, cast boundary walls, Precast light weight panels, to get benefit of thermal and acoustic insulation. • Can use flyash, pond ash and other such filler which are more than 2 mm instead of or with sand. • The plant is portable and can be shifted in a material lift to carry out jobs at higher floors. New launches Mobile walk behind mixer • No need to carry mixer around just dump the material and mix the concrete or plaster at site itself. • Operated by battery and power. • Very low running cost. • Saves time and power. Automatic plastering machine • Just mix the plaster at site with the mobile walk behind mixer. • Load in the automatic plaster machine which is aligned to the wall and get a good uniform plaster on the wall. • Operates on single phase power and drive three phase motors • Requires just 6 kW power. • The joints between two sections to be just finished with a bar. • Unevenness upto 30 mm is adjusted by the machine.
