HPL Group has been serving Indian Industry since last 52 years with time tested, reliable and well-proven products in the field of CFL Lamps, Luminaries, Switchgears, Protection Devices, Electronic Energy Meters, Energy Management Systems and Wires & Cables.
 
Recently Ministry of Science and Technology has approved our R&DCentre. The R&D centre has over 80 personnel capable to design electronics and are constantly working to upgrade the technology. The R&D is equipped with latest testing facilities like EMI / EMC, Harmonics etc. which are fundamental in today’s electrical systems.
 
HPL has manufactured and supplied over 130 Lakhs Electronic Meters to various Central and State Power Utilities and the trade. Some of the technologically advance products are AMR Metering, Trivector Meters, Unique Split Metering concept and Pre-Paid Meters.
 
HPL CFL Division: HPL has set up a state of art fully automatic CFL manufacturing plant at Sonepat (Haryana). This plant has 4 automatic and complete CFL manufacturing lines. Each manufacturing line is comprising of 26 process machines, producing a complete lamp. HPL is committed in the State of Himachal where it has an investment of over Rs. 110 crore and has set up a factory located at Jabli, Distt. Kasauli. The manufacturing plant is a state of art unit, ISO 9000 certified having modern manufacturing and testing lines, producing products like MCBs, Distribution Boards, RCCBs, Electronic Meters, Electronic Panel Meters etc. The plant has ultra modern tool room, equipped with CNC wire cut, CNC milling and EDM machines apart form various other tool room machinery required to produce quality moulds. This activity is the heart of HPL group and has received major recognition from our customers including State Electricity Boards.
 
In addition to above, HPL has 6 Factories which are equipped with updated manufacturing and testing set up located at Gurgaon, Noida and Rai (Haryana). At Gurgaon, we are manufacturing around 15000 electronic energy meters a day. This Factory is equipped with Computerized Test Benches, laboratory, R&D Centre. It also has a moulding division consisting of 14 automatic moulding machines upto 250 Tons capacity, moulding energy meter boxes and components.
 
At Noida, HPL has factories for a complete range of LT Switchgears. These units are well equipped with facilities such as machine shop, paint shop, assembly line, testing laboratory and electro plating.
 
Wires & Cables: Recently HPL Group has added a new unit in its basket. The group has set up a modern Wire & Cable plant located at Rai, Haryana. The plant is capable to manfacture wires and cables such as Single Core, Multi Core, Multi Strang, FRLS Wires, Submersible Cables and Coaxil Cables and Telephone Cables.
 
HPL is all set to cross a turnover of Rs. 1000 crores by the year 2011. During this period, the company plans to invest additional Rs. 80 crores towards new manufacturing facilities. These additional manufacturing facilities will house expansion in Wires & Cables, a new Switchgear manufacturing set-up and expansion in R&D activities of the HPL Group.
