Hyundai CE’s Hi-Mate system delivers effective fleet monitoring

Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd (HCEIPL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Construction Equipment, South Korea, introduced the SMART series of construction equipment (CE). According to the company, SMART series is the result of deep understanding of customer business, usage pattern and future technological advancements in CE industry.
“SMART is the acronym for Superior performance, low Maintenance, Analytical capabilities, enhanced Reliability and advanced Technology. The machines are equipped with self-diagnosis, fault alert record storage and communication system which facilitate early problem resolution and better uptime for the machines,” Sharwan Agnihotri, Head – Marketing & Business Development, HCEIPL.
He further claims that, these machines are more fuel-efficient than the earlier series and are equipped with various features to improve operator comfort, engine life, fuel efficiency and component durability.
Hi-Mate system, the proprietary remote management system of Hyundai CE, which is being offered as an optional feature integrates the self-diagnosis system of machine and provides analytical reports to the customers for speedy and informed decision making.
Enables superior fleet management
The Hi-Mate system integrates machine performance data like operating time, fuel consumption, machine fault history, machine location service, etc. and operator behaviour to create and share analytical reports for informed decision making for the customers. This feature of machines enables the customers to manage large fleet of machines with optimum utilisation, low maintenance and reduced down time.
Rental and leasing to drive the machine deployment
Hyundai CE believes that usage pattern and customer behaviour would follow the trend of developed economies where machine rental and leasing is dominant route of machine deployment at site. According to Agnihotri, “The rental and leasing companies would be more organised and operational efficiency would bring the profitability for the organisation.”
