Considering how your product portfolio is very diverse, what are some of your best-selling products?
Products of JBFS Engineering Systems have significantly contributed to the development of robust infrastructures, thus carving its name in India’s growth story. With our customer centric approach supporting the group’s exponential growth, we have been able to add new and innovative products and services to our line-up, making it the one stop-shop for all construction requirements. The current product line-up of JBFS Engineering Systems includes profiled colour coated sheets and accessories, industrial purlins, decking sheets, portable cabins and offices, pre-engineered buildings, container offices and homes, solar mounting structure, metal beam highway crash barriers, concrete mixers and batching plant, construction machinery, shuttering & scaffolding materials, and most recently, green steel building solution – light gauge steel framed structures.

Currently, our most popular products include tilting drum concrete mixer, reversible batch mixer, fully automatic concrete batching plant, passenger cum-material hoist, colour coated roofing sheets, industrial purlins, highway crash barriers and light gauge steel framed structures. They are popular because of the value proposition that it provides to our customer, and are amongst the products which have continued to show growth in sales even during Covid-19. 

Can you tell us something about the warranty and after sales service you offer on your products? Offered warranty on products of JBFS Engineering Systems range from two years for some of the construction machines and equipment to fifty years for light gauge steel framed structures. Our warranties are not only competition leading but also validated by advanced simulations and backed by our pan-India service partners, led and trained by our in-house service team. A longer warranty backing also stems from the confidence we have in our design and manufacturing teams coming together during product development, with the goal of providing better performance, quality and cost-effectiveness in projects through the range we offer.

How do you see the positive impact of Atmanirbhar Bharat on your business?
The “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative by the Government of India is not only a very important step in building the confidence of businesses to further invest and build capacities, but also encourages newer businesses. JBFS Engineering Systems has been supporting and actively leading the “Make In India” initiative, and now to lend support to “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative, all our quality raw materials will be sourced from India only. Further, we will be actively investing in new manufacturing facilities and upgrading existing ones to bolster our support to the initiative. We, JBFS Engineering Systems take pride in not only making in India but also playing a part in building the country’s infrastructure towards becoming “Atmanirbhar”. 

Can you tell us about your prestigious clientele? Which sector has proved lucrative in this pandemic period?
The prestigious clientele of JBFS Engineering Systems include the Indian Army, Indian Oil Corporation, Border Road Organization, National Thermal Power Corporation, TATA Projects & Nest-In, Shapoorji Pallonji, Emami Group, Voltas, Larsen & Toubro, Ahluwalia Contracts, Cricket Association of Bengal, National Housing Development Corporation, JSW Cement, Simplex, Maithan Steel & Power, Essar Steel, ArcelorMittal,  Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) and Lloyd Insulation. In the pandemic period, the construction sector has provided a lot of lucrative opportunities, and our data predicts further growth in this sector. Construction companies have been able to bounce back better, shedding the pandemic blues early, to continue the growth and development of the Indian infrastructure.
