Komatsu India Pvt Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Limited put together an impressive show at Excon 2019, South Asia’s largest Construction Equipment exhibition, to showcase their technological strengths and service capabilities and reaffirm their strong commitment to the industry. The show witnessed Komatsu, Scania and LTCEL putting up a panoramic display of 19 machines, making it one of the most comprehensive displays of Construction, Earthmoving and Road Machinery.

Coinciding with the occasion, L&T handed over its 50,000th machine – VPrabhakar Reddy, Founder & Promoter, VPR Mining Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. received the symbolic key of Komatsu PC450 Hydraulic Excavator from Arvind K Garg, Executive Vice-President and Head, L&T Construction & Mining Machinery and Masaaki Kamizono, Managing Director, Komatsu India Pvt. Ltd. at Excon 2019.

Several machine handing-overs were done in the course of the exhibition – the most prominent being 6000th Komatsu PC130 machine received byVaijnathBhalkikar of Vijay EnterprisesChandrapur.

Komatsu machines on display includeda wide range of Hydraulic Excavators — PC71, PC130, PC210-10, PC300-8, PC350-8 and PC450, which are popular in the Construction Industry and manufactured by Komatsu India Pvt Ltd at its state-of-the-art facility in Oragadam, Chennai. D85 Crawler Dozer and GD535 Motor Grader, imported from Komatsu Limited formed part of the impressive product display. These machines have been deployed for multiple applications such as earthwork, land development, irrigation, blue metal quarry and set new benchmarks across the industry.

The cynosure of all eyeswas Scania NTG G440 XT Heavy Tipper which was also on display in the L&T Pavilion. With its unique modular system, this G440 will deliver higher productivity as well as customized transport solutions. This machine is manufactured by Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd. and incorporates the advanced Swedish technology. Introduced in 2007, Scania Tippers are marketed and serviced by L&T in India.

L&T also offers a wide range of road machinery, manufactured by L&T Construction Equipment Limited (LTCEL)as part of the Make in India program, L&T 9020sx Wheel Loader, L&T 1190/L&T 990HF/L&T 491 Vibratory Compactors, L&T 2490 Pneumatic Tyred Roller, Hydraulic Paver and Skid Steer Loader. This equipmentincorporates world-class features and are fitted with L&T DigiEye for tracking the machines online and for the display in L&T Pavilion.

During the show, L&T launched Komatsu Genuine Grease, Komatsu G2-LI, which is a multipurpose grease designed for all components covering a majority of the Komatsu range of Construction Equipment. It is an extreme pressure lithium grease with excellent mechanical stability, which means that this Grease maintains its consistency, for long hours of service.
