MB-HDS320: Transforming the coal mining

One of our esteemed clients is well-known in the mining and infra space in the Southern part of India and has numerous coal mines which supply coal to power plants in the region.
Until very recently, they were using a surface miner to crush the coal and supply 100 mm size crushed coal to the power plant. But they were unable to use surface miner equipment efficiently as they needed to crush approximately two lakh tons of the material with a precise output of 100mm.
They realised that they needed and new and innovative solution for crushing the material from 250 mm to 100 mm; that would minimise their operational costs while still meeting their output requirements. They were also considered static and/ or track-mounted crusher but upfront capex requirement, lack of movement and high cost of operations were some of the key parameters which were creating a hindrance in their procurement decision.
Hence, while looking for an alternative solution over the internet, they came across MB Crusher’s website. They found a ‘ray of hope’ and immediately raise an enquiry for MB’s shaft screener.
Designed with our constructive approach towards reducing waste and increasing the profitability of the construction site, this machine is the latest “gem” in MB Crusher’s product portfolio. The MB Crusher shaft screener bucket is a hydraulic attachment for excavators, wheel loader or skid steers, transforming the machine it is mounted on in a high-performance mobile crusher or screener.
In MB-HDS320, the customer saw the following benefits:
- Easy installation on an excavator and flexibility in movement everywhere within the mine
- Low owning and operating cost
- One operator is enough to run the crusher and the base machine
- Consistent productivity
The shaft screener with the RM mixer kit successfully reached the site and was successfully installed. From the day of installation to date, they are satisfied with the product as they can meet their daily output requirement (50-60 tonnes/hour).
