The MonoDec is adaptable to any building plan, with a standard panel width of 50 cm and a
length that may be customised according to project requirements.
The ever-faster completion of construction projects in the face of manpower shortage is a challenge that every construction manager has to deal with. Modern construction methods are therefore the rule rather than the exception in today’s world, and this trend has affected the use of formwork systems.
MEVA is a pioneer and trendsetter for the entire formwork industry. The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is built with slab formwork from MEVA. MEVA was founded in February 1970 in the Black Forest near Stuttgart and can look back on 50 years of experience in developing and supplying formwork systems for some of the most significant projects in the world. For the Indian market, MEVA has been working with great passion since 2009 to make formwork safer, more efficient and easier for users. In India,MEVA offers an integrated formwork system for projects with fully engineered and compatible components. The company is focused on providing users with formwork systems that are superior in terms of reducing cycle time, increasing cost efficiency and reusability. MEVA has the first installation of an automatic climbing formwork system in India to its credit.
MonoDec: Fast and Efficient
MonoDec is an innovative slab formwork system from MEVA, consisting of panels, primary beams, drop heads and props. With the MonoDec, you don’t need to do a tradeoff between weight and slab thickness. A self-weight of only 18.5 kg/sq. m. delivers a maximum slab capacity of 350 mm at a c/c prop grid of 1.8 m x 1.5 m, making the MonoDec highly efficient. Thanks to its drop-head system and primary beam, the MonoDec is extremely fast to install and disassemble. The drop head system results in 40 percent lesser material, since early striking of the panels and primary beams means they can be shifted to the next level leaving the props in place. Its all aluminium panels make the system robust, durable and completely recyclable at the end of its useful life. The aluminium surface allows cleaning with high-pressure jets at the same time reducing concrete adhesion.
Adaptable
The MonoDec is adaptable to any building layout with a standard panel width of 50 cm and length, customisable as per project requirements. It is ideal for flat slab construction, resulting in productivity, upwards of 35-40 sq. m./man day. Another major feature of the MonoDec is its ability to be installed on any shoring system, be it cuplock, ringlock or props without the need for any additional accessory.
Safety is of paramount importance in all MEVA systems and the MonoDec is no different. All panels and primary beams have a provision to be extended to provide support for guard rail posts, ensuring complete periphery protection.
MEVA offers customers in India a comprehensive product portfolio covering all formwork requirements from infrastructure projects to high-rises, from handset formwork to automatic climbing technology. MEVA is internationally active and present with 40 locations in over 30 countries on five continents. MEVA develops technically sophisticated and easy-tousle solutions for varied applications that help users to overcome the challenges encountered on-site while always remaining one step ahead in matters of safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
