Promoting GOI’s national campaign of ‘awareness on cleanliness’

BEML Limited, a Schedule ‘A’ Company under Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, is observing the fortnight long program ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ from 1st to 15th Dec. 2022 across all its units for spreading the awareness on cleanliness to support the nationwide cleanliness initiative of the GoI.

The “Swachhta Pledge” was administered on the first day of the fortnight-long celebrations. The spirit of cleanliness among all BEML employees across all establishments and offices.Various activities, such as disposing of scrap material, a cleanliness drive at public places, weeding out old files and equipment, planting tree saplings, fumigation, disposal of e-waste, clearing drainage, etc., are planned.

Posters and banners are positioned in and around companies, complexes, and residential townships at various key areas to raise awareness about cleanliness.

Throughout this fortnight, Swachhta-related events are being planned for all employees, their wives, and their kids, including seminars, essay contests, and drawing competitions.
