Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation deployed a brand-new, innovative pothole-filling technology to make the roads of Kalyan and Dombivili safer and smoother for its civilians. Pot-Crete, developed by RDC Concrete and its subsidiary company, Ultrafine, is a rapid pothole repair solution that guarantees durable repairs without requiring special equipment or lengthy downtime. As part of a trial run, the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation is administering the new repairs to a few roads. The trial will help assess the effectiveness and reliability of the technology in a real-world setting.

The KDMC representatives determined two different sites in the Kalyan Dombivli region and brought in RDC Concrete and Ultrafine to demonstrate Pot-Crete’s ability to provide rapid repair services for potholes. For evaluating the performance of the product, a demonstration of Pot-Crete was conducted without halting traffic.

From KDMC, Arjun Ahire, City Engineer at KDMC, and Jagdish Kore, Executive Engineer, along with Avijit Chaubey, Head-Technical at RDC Concrete, and Ajay Pathik, CEO of Ultrafine, were present during the trial demo to evaluate whether the potholes would be filled within 5 minutes.
