Sleek Boards (India) has introduced its new product for porta cabins and pre-fabricated constructions named CompacMel Plus, a solution in wood and specially designed for use in highly humid indoor environments or for applications requiring high resistance.
CompacMel Plus is compact high-density wood fibreboard; with density more than 1,000 kg/m3, and excellent mechanical properties. Due to its high density, the company claims that the product is best alternative for high thickness partitions, which, in turn, helps to reduce the dead weight, and in addition, get more space for utilisation.
Furthermore, CompacMel Plus provides a high strength decorative melamine protection. It possesses excellent mechanical properties (bending strength, internal bond, impact strength) and a good thermal conductivity values also. CompacMel Plus is suitable product for wall-panelling, and it substantially improves thermal insulation and therefore reduces energy consumption. It is environmentally friendly also as wood is a sustainable, 100 per cent recyclable material.
