The India Warehousing Show 2023, held from June 14 to 16 at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi, emerged as a resounding success, setting the stage for India’s warehousing and logistics professionals. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of over 14,000 visitors, surpassing all previous records. With 360 brands showcasing cutting-edge warehousing technology and solutions, the show served as a melting pot for delegates worldwide, including Japan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, the UAE, Canada, and Singapore.

This year’s event marked a significant surge in buyers and brands compared to the previous edition. Over 14,706 buyers from India and globally flocked to the show to explore the latest innovations in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain technology. The substantial increase in attendance can be attributed to the rising significance of the warehousing industry in India and the growing awareness of the show’s impact.

Surendra Ahirwar, Joint Secretary, Logistics & Trade, DPIIT, inaugurated the India Warehousing Show 2023 and commended IWS and RX Global for organising a remarkable event in alignment with the National Logistics Policy and the PM Gati Shakti Plan.

The event encompassed three primary areas: Warehousing, Logistics, Material Handling, Automation, and Supply Chain. The Warehousing section showcased various products and services, including racking, conveyors, and automated storage and retrieval systems. At the same time, the logistics area featured solutions for transportation, freight forwarding, and customs clearance. The Supply Chain segment exhibited software and services for inventory management, transportation, and customer orders.

The India Warehousing Show 2023 boasted an impressive lineup of exhibitors, including industry giants such as Jungheinrich Lift Truck India Private Limited, ASSA ABLOY, and Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., DP World, and many more. These exhibitors showcased various offerings, ranging from lift trucks and security solutions to warehousing equipment, automation solutions, and logistics services.

One of the event’s highlights was the She Led conference, which brought together women leaders from the logistics sector. The conference provided a platform for these trailblazing women to discuss the industry’s future, share insights on active female participation in shaping logistics, and address the challenges women face in the field face.

Several key trends emerged at the India Warehousing Show 2023. The event shed light on the increasing adoption of automation in warehousing operations, highlighting its potential to enhance efficiency and productivity. Additionally, sustainability took centre stage, underscoring the growing importance of eco-friendly practices in the warehousing and logistics industries. Moreover, the show emphasised the need for greater collaboration between businesses across the supply chain to streamline operations and maximise outcomes.

Janish Jafari, Project Manager at RX India, expressed confidence in the future of the India Warehousing Show, projecting it as a major event for the warehousing, logistics, and supply chain industries in the years to come.

Anticipation is already building for the next show, scheduled for July 2024 at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi. The organisers actively seek more international exhibitors and visitors, aiming to surpass the previous show’s success.
