Thermax Group, a renowned provider of energy and environmental solutions, has recently announced a significant move by entering into an agreement to acquire a majority stake of 51 percent in TSA Process Equipments.

This strategic alliance marks a pivotal addition to Thermax’s comprehensive portfolio, positioning the company to offer an all-encompassing solution for high-purity water requirements across various industries such as pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, personal care, and food & beverages.

Under the definitive agreements signed, the acquisition is set to be completed gradually over the next two years, with Thermax eventually attaining full ownership of TSA Process Equipments. Ashish Bhandari, the Managing Director & CEO of Thermax, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasising the company’s commitment to expanding its portfolio to deliver unique solutions tailored to customer needs. He highlighted the significance of the investment in TSA, foreseeing an enhancement of Thermax’s water division’s capabilities to offer end-to-end solutions, including highly purified water, ultra-pure water, and water for injectables.

Apurva Shah, the Managing Director of TSA Process Equipments, echoed Bhandari’s sentiments, noting the alignment of goals between the two companies. Shah emphasised the shared commitment to customer trust, expertise, and industry leadership cultivated over many years. The amalgamation of TSA’s specialised expertise with Thermax’s robust capabilities is expected to drive substantial impact and accelerate the journey towards sustainability.

Established in 2004 and headquartered in Mumbai, TSA Process Equipments boasts a global presence with over 500 installations worldwide, alongside manufacturing facilities in western India. These facilities cater primarily to esteemed companies in the pharmaceutical and personal care sectors, underscoring TSA’s reputation and expertise in delivering high-quality solutions to discerning clientele.
