The cutting-edge facility will focus on new product development for Train Control & Monitoring Systems (TCMS) and sophisticated Propulsion Systems, to revolutionise the country’s rail transportation. The engineering centre will also play an important role in executing TRSL’s current and upcoming rolling stock and propulsion projects such as Surat and Ahmedabad Metro, Vande Bharat, ICF EMU/MEMU, and others, demonstrating the company’s unwavering commitment to the ‘Make-in-India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives towards a Viksit Bharat.

The new centre, equipped with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure, is intended to stimulate innovation and collaboration among TRSL’s engineers and designers. At this plant, the corporation plans to hire a big number of skilled engineers from a variety of rolling stock specialties. The centre will serve as an innovation hub, transforming ideas into real solutions that address the difficulties of modern rail transit.
