“With the fast development in industrialisation and infrastructure projects, we see an increased demand for fuelling and refuelling systems in India,” said Hectronic’s Nikhil Agarwal and Shwetank Singh.

What do you think of the market for fuelling and refuelling systems?

Hectronic specialises in fuel management systems spanning from receiving fuel to storing gasoline to distribution and refuelling. A few solutions to mention are Decantation, Inventory Management, Bowser Top Loading, and RFID solutions for Bowser Stationary dispensers. All the data collected from these solutions are sent to the software, which will then be linked to the company’s ERP system. This is how a mix of hardware and software lets the stakeholder know how much fuel is consumed.

What type of business propositions do you anticipate from road construction and mining?

Hectronic is a multinational Swiss-German firm that is a global leader in providing fuel management systems. We have 80 percent of mining companies across the globe using our fuel management solutions. We primarily provide services to the mining, cement, and infrastructure industries, as well as road building, watercraft, aviation, and rails. We target businesses having high diesel consumption.

The Indian government has set aside two lakh crore rupees for road building. Hence, our focus is on the infrastructure development companies where we can help them to optimise their fuelling operation & cut down on fuel costs.

Can you shed some light on the product you exhibited during the exhibition?

This is a demonstration device explicitly designed for Bauma. We are demonstrating two things: accuracy and automation. We supply 99.9 percent accurate flow meters and automation solutions, a combination of goods geared exclusively at the infrastructure business.

How do you see opportunities in mining, steel, and infrastructure?

We have been serving this industry for 16 years, and our core segments include mining, steel, and infrastructure. The use of fuel management systems has increased significantly in these industries, and digitalisation is paving the way for clients to install these solutions. Our clients can save fuel costs by optimising fuel operations and bringing transparency to the entire system.

Which end-to-end solutions do you offer for the infrastructure sector?

We provide end-to-end FMS solutions for bulk diesel customers, mainly in the mining and infrastructure sectors. We have Bowser station management, top loading systems, and comprehensive cloud-based software & integration to third-party software like SAP/ERP systems. Our after-sales service support is the key to the success of having a strong service support network in PAN India.

Can you also discuss the technology you employ to differentiate yourself in the market?

We offer turnkey solutions under a fuel management system. From brownfield to complete automated fuel station under one roof.

How do these sustainable solutions benefit the customer or your consumers when it comes to reducing emissions?

Hectronic Fuel Management solutions are designed to save fuel and avoid fuel wastage in industries whose operations entirely depend on fuel. Optimising the fuel operations leads to lesser consumption of fuel and hence reduction in emissions.

What innovations can we expect from Hectronic in 2023-24? We already have our cloud-based apps interconnected. We are planning to bring in some new hybrid model controllers which can work for both fuel-based & electric vehicles making it easy to upgrade existing automation controllers.
