McNally Sayaji Engineering Ltd (MSEL) offers complete solution for coal sizing and conveying from the mine to the boiler. Backed by in-house manufacturing experience of nearly 60 years, no one understands the Indian coal and the complexities of operating and maintaining the installations in challenging conditions better than McNally does. MSEL’s strength lies in the fact that the technology has been perfected over years to suit the Indian conditions with design, manufacturing and servicing all under one roof.

Since the first crusher moved out of our factory way back in 1946, McNally has come a long way off. The MSEL roll crushers of today come with advanced electronic controls, energy efficient drives, in-built safety devices like fluid coupling and speed monitors, hydraulic gap setting, ergonomic tooth profiles and new wear resistant surfaces with differential hardness. MSEL has kept pace with international developments and has matched the best in class crushers. Today, MSEL delivers for the Indian coal reliable, robust and energy efficient sizing crushers and screens of international standards but at affordable Indian prices.

MSEL’s in-house manufactured equipment range for coal handling plants includes:• Apron feeder up to 2,200 TPH (maximum). The largest apron feeder manufactured and commissioned is of 74 metres length. • Single roll crusher 1,600 mm diameter by 1,600 mm wide up to 1,500 TPH.• Double roll crusher 800 mm diameter by 3,800 mm wide up to 1,200 TPH.• Impactor upto 600 TPH for 15 mm product.• Conveyor pulleys and idlers.• Vibrating Screening Feeder up to 1,500 TPH.• Wagon tippler of 25 tips per hour.• Paddle feeder up to 3,000 TPH. • Stacker – Reclaimer up to 6,000 TPH. • Travelling Tripper up to 1,250 TPH• Rotary Breaker up to 1,000 TPH. • Roller Screen up to 2,000 TPH.• Ring Granulator up to 1,800 TPH for 20 mm product.• Reversible Hammer Mill 2,000 mm diameter by 2,600 mm wide up to 550 TPH for 3 mm product.

MSEL has technology collaboration with world renowned Famur Famak of Poland for manufacturing of wide range of material handling equipment. Till date, the factories of MSEL have produced 45 stacker reclaimers and 15 wagon tipplers.

In addition, MSEL has recently developed in-house a unique crushing solution for coal both single and double stage entirely on skid. Depending on the application, a grizzly, apron feeder, single roll crusher or impactor and stacking conveyor along with control panel is mounted on a skid. The uniqueness of this equipment is that it is entirely plug and play, does not require any civil foundation and can be installed at site within 7 days. MSEL has provided an extremely economical yet reliable solution for crushing coal to -100 mm as per the latest requirements of the coal ministry and in the last few years, successfully installed 20 such skid mounted units in the various mines of Coal India Ltd (CIL).

A few landmark projects of such skid plants are:• 250 TPH Skid Mounted Plant in two-stage from (-) 1,000 mm feed to (-) 20 mm product for JSPL Dongamahua CPP, Tamnar.• 400 TPH Skid Mounted Plant in one stage from (-) 800 mm feed to (-) 200 mm product for Hindalco Renusagar power plant.• 400 TPH Skid Mounted Plant in one stage from (-) 600 mm feed to (-) 100 mm product for Ambey Mining for Eastern Coal Fields.
MSEL also has the proven capability of designing and supplying complete dry grinding solutions for crushing of limestone used for charging lime dust into the boiler for coal desulphurisation. Currently the dry grinding system of 88 tph capacity and product size -0.5 mm 97 per cent including the ball mill manufactured entirely in-house is under installation at HMEL at Bhatinda.

MSEL solutions for cement manufacturing plants

MSEL manufactures a wide range of equipment for the various sections of both the clinker manufacturing and regrinding plants. They are as follows:• Raw material handling and additive crushing plants: Apron Feeder, Grizzly or Screen Feeder, Roller Screen, Vibrating Feeder, Reciprocating Feeder, Crushers (Jaw, Roll, Impactor, Hammer Mill, Hammer Crusher, Rotary Breaker), Vibrating Screen, Stacker Reclaimer and Belt Conveyor.• Raw Mill and Coal Mill plants: Complete dry grinding system solution including Ball Mill, Bag Filter, Grid Separator, Cyclone, Air Slide, Screw Conveyor, Belt Weigh Feeder, HAG System and other accessories.• Clinker Regrinding Mills: Complete Dry Grinding System as above.
