Paschal is a global player having presence across 40 countries. How significant is your Indian business?
Paschal has started business in India in 2010. Our journey was quite interesting as well as challenging. We have started our journey with infrastructure projects and catered thermal power, defence, industrial, commercial and residential projects across India so far. India is quite potential for formwork industry as the concreting practices are changing fast in almost all construction segments. Paschal products play vital role in Indian construction as speed and quality being crucial variables now. Moreover, the formwork that we supply is quite user friendly. With or without skilled workers at site, they achieve high productivity. We rank pretty good in customer satisfaction due to the quality of products and services we provide in India. In a short time Paschal India came across in all sectors with remarkable milestones of successful project completion.
Could you give us an overview of the formwork industry in India?
While, large construction companies in India have been focusing on formwork for a decade at least, the medium and smaller companies are also getting aware of the benefit these system formworks provide. ‘Time’ being the value factor in construction, the transition from the traditional to modern formwork is clearly visible in last few years. The quality, speed, safety needs and lack of competitive manpower being the primary reasons. Formwork generally follows concrete pumps in the market. These days, it is hard to find construction activity without concrete pumps and vibrators and formwork becomes necessity then. Formwork industry in India is here to grow.
What are some of your latest initiatives?
Our USP is versatility. Investing in Capex just for one or two structures or segments does not provide Return on Investment (ROI). Our formwork is designed in a way that, it can be catered in any kind of structures irrespective of its character. Being durable in nature, say for 2 decades, we understand the need of managing the assets very well. It’s quite a tough task to track and maintain the assets in construction works. Paschal is only formwork system having RFID technology and each panel is having its own unique identification code for ease of tracking its progress. Optimum utilisation of resources being the success key, RFID will become an effective tool for asset management.
Seeing the increasing business activities in India, are you increasing footprint?
Yes, Paschal has been increasing its footprint in India in good pace and will continue to do so. Our business activities and projects are increased through our satisfied users. The product quality and customer centric approach in service along with technological support is helping us growing from one segment to the other. Furthermore, Paschal Modular is approved by certain specific government sectors; hence we can proudly say that we are on the road to success.

Fastest erection due to its simple connection technology, fair finish surface, high productivity, low skilled manpower, durability, versatility, low maintenance, high accuracy, local facility for refurbishment and best-in-class service are the advantages to partner with Paschal.
How information technology is transforming the formwork segment?
Information technology plays a vital role, to represent the product unique futures to end user by the way of better communication. And it is a platform for the people with effective and innovative ideas. It helps to find more initiatives to reach optimisation of the segment. Effective utilisation of capital resources can be made available through information technology. Paschal integrates the physical assets to ERP and design platform to achieve this.
