What does the future hold for construction equipment industry in India?

Akona is a manufacturer of the heavy construction machineries which include Concrete Batching Plant capacity 20 – 240 cu.m./hour, Hot Mix Plant capacity upto 150 TPH, Wet Mix Plant capacity upto 250 TPH, Stone Crusher upto 400 TPH, Concrete Mixer Self Loader 2- and 4-cu.m. capacities and other related construction equipment.

The future of construction equipment in India, itself is self-explanatory, who have the minor exposure related to developments, which have been done and are being planned can explain and strongly recommend for future that construction equipment will have their major role to develop and to complete the present planned projects of dynamically growing or developing India. It means construction work which includes roads, bridges, tunnels, canals, hydro power projects and buildings needs lot of machinery to meet the needs of future planning means the future of construction equipment in India for the coming will have a positive growth.

How was the EXCON 2017 as far as your company is concerned?

Akona was available as outdoor exhibitor in EXCON 2017 at Bangalore. We were available with the Concrete Batching Plant Capacity in three model ATS-120 capacity 120 cu.m./hour, AHP-30 capacity cu.m./hour, AH-30 capacity 30 cu.m./hour, Concrete Mixer Self Loader 2 and 4 cu.m. and Transit Mixer. The products received overwhelming response and above the expectation visitors visited Akona in EXCON 2017 each day. Visitors were from our present valuable customers index as well as new customers, who have seen each equipment and discussed about the equipment for new launch as well as technically up-gradation and salient features. Out of these valuable customer, number of them have booked the equipment as per their needs of project.

Could you discuss on one specific technology to watch out for in 2018?

Akona is focusing mainly on concrete mixing technology as present planned projects in India are more demanding of concrete mix compare to hot mix. Present States and Central governments have the target to connect each village with town in turn with major city and even though to develop each village path with concrete mix to have batter rural connectivity mainly to provide best road service to each Indian village with longer life compare to hot mix.
