R ockwool A/S, also known as the ROCKWOOL Group, is a Danish multinational manufacturer of mineral wool products based in Hedehusene, Greater Copenhagen, Denmark, that recently opened its first-ever experiential centre in India. The Royal Danish Embassy in India’s Ambassador, H. E. Freddy Svane, inaugurated the experiential centre in Dahej, Gujarat.

 The experiential centre will enhance each customer’s interaction with ROCKWOOL as a brand by representing the company and its values. The 2500 SQFT centre will help customers experience real-life scenarios and feature specially designed product demos. The ROCKWOOL immersive facility will provide visitors with yet another cutting-edge experience of all the products and applications that will be showcased under a single roof. There will also be a demonstration of the manufacturing process’s ability to solve problems. ROCKWOOL representatives will also discuss the difficult decisions that customers must make when purchasing stone wool at the centre.

 The company also intends to open similar facilities in key manufacturing hubs throughout the country. ROXUL ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation was launched in India in 2011, and a manufacturing plant was established in Dahej SEZ, Gujarat, in 2010. This plant has a cutting-edge facility with 30000 MT of Stone wool insulation capacity. Further, they employ over 350 people in India and have invested in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Because of the rising demand for insulation, the company intends to double its investment soon. 

The Ambassador of the Royal Danish Embassy in India, H. E. Freddy Svane, stated, “The Ambassador emphasised the three Gs, which are Good, Great, and Green.” Furthermore, he emphasised the 5Ss: Scale, Skill, Speed, Scope, and Sustainability, which were integral parts of India and Denmark’s exclusive Green Strategic Partnership.
