TIPL has modern facilities for manufacturing including Electronic Assembly Shops, Machine Shop, Tool Room, Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop, Welding, Paint Shop, Bakelite Moulding Shop, Electroplating and Polishing Shop etc.

TIPL also maintains a Standard Room having instruments with traceability of parameters like voltage, current, resistance, optical pyrometry, temperature etc to the National Physical Laboratory, Delhi.
