This time bauma China is a bit slow as the presence of customers and foreign visitors is not much. I could observe that the concrete equipment segment is diversifying. The orientation towards bitumen concrete roads construction and mining is increasing while reducing focus on cement concrete.
The main purpose of my visit was to see new products and study them. However, I did not find any new variety of products. There was absolutely no batching part. Presence of small-scale and local players was almost negligible.
Market potentialRequirements of China and India are completely different. In India the sector of RMC — i.e. cement and concrete — have better opportunity as of now.
